fuck face book

I mean it’s a means to an end but there has got to be a wiki or open source way to do this. My only hope is due to the insane proliferation of these things there are ways to connect them and I’m hoping someone will come out with a web protocol so one can nest ones own contributions within ones own url so that it becomes your property.

It’s just like journalspace the only thing face book really owns is the forum for people to talk. It would be like owning a meeting hall but on the web there is no real need for a building and people need a commons or else all we’ve done is commercialized our minds and friends for someone else’s benefit. THat said it’s a hell of a lot better than that stupid reunion.com or whatever that closed spamhouse was
